Ep. 18: Seiryu the Blue Dragon confronts the group while Hiei defeats him and the leader targets Keiko.

The quartet advances deeper into the castle where Seiryu, the third Saint Beast, makes his appearance. Byakko arrives in a weakened state, pleading for assistance against the group, but Seiryu condemns him as a disgrace and shatters him to death. Hiei subsequently engages Seiryu in combat. Despite the dragon’s initial advantage, Hiei reveals he was merely testing his opponent and effortlessly nullifies all ice-based attacks. Hiei then swiftly defeats Seiryu with his sword. Concurrently, the leader of the Saint Beasts discovers Yusuke’s connection to Keiko. To undermine Yusuke’s resolve and hinder his efforts to stop the leader’s plans, the leader decides to target Keiko using civilians infested with Makai energy.
