Ep. 11: Yuna and Karin pursue Mimori into the Shinju amid a Vertex outbreak crisis.
Discovering Mimori is central to the Vertex outbreak, Yūna and Karin pursue her into the Shinju to understand her perspective. Mimori believes destroying the Shinju is the only way to spare her friends from suffering, forcing Yūna and Karin to retreat. Yūna’s resulting confusion prevents her from transforming, as she feels like a failure. Determined to reunite with Mimori, Karin fights alone through the Vertex, undergoing Mankai repeatedly. This battle leaves Karin blind, deaf, and largely paralyzed by the time Yūna finds her. Meanwhile, after Fū and Itsuki fail to intervene, Mimori attempts to destroy the Shinju by directing Vertex attacks toward it. Yūna arrives just in time to halt the assault, driven by a resolve to protect Mimori from destruction.
