One month after their previous battle, the group prepares to confront the fifth Vertex, but Karin Miyoshi arrives and defeats it alone. The following day, she transfers into Yūna and Mimori’s class, asserting her role as a fully trained hero sent to oversee the newcomers. Although she reluctantly joins the Hero Club, she remains resistant to forming friendships. Over the weekend, she avoids a planned gathering, believing she must prioritize her heroic duties. Later that evening, the girls visit her apartment to reveal they had organized a surprise birthday party for her. By the end of the day, Karin begins to warm up to her new companions.
