Z/X: Code reunion

Interdimensional portals appeared years ago, enabling creatures from five conflicting dimensions to bring their conflict to Earth. A fragile peace has since developed between these beings, called Z/X, and humans, with some forming alliances. A young woman faces a life-or-death decision: she can either form a bond with a Z/X named Rigel or remain in a coma due to a chronic illness. This choice leads her to a new academy where groups of young women and their Z/X partners are covertly trained for an anticipated threat. Shortly after her arrival with her new companions, the school becomes the target of the first offensive from their adversaries.
