Shobu and his companions encounter Augre, a Duelist capable of initiating a Duel of Truth. Despite Augre summoning the ultimate form of his Dragon Army deck and fighting with full effort, Shobu suffers a humiliating defeat. Following this loss, Dr. Root provides a depressed Shobu with a wooden box. Inside is a single Duel Masters card, which Shobu recognizes as Bolmeteus Musha Dragon from his childhood, noting its dreadful power. Meanwhile, the tournament taking place on the island resumes its proceedings, leaving the audience to wonder about the upcoming events and the consequences of Shobu's defeat.
