Ep. 8: The gang seeks Zoid Eve clues in the capital while facing Rosso's ambush.
After Red River, the group heads to the Republican Capital hoping to find Zoid Eve. Captain Herman provides a letter of introduction before they depart. Irvine attempts to take Zeke but fails. Moonbay and others visit a village for supplies. Irvine, Fiona, and Zeke become separated from Van. Fiona buys fruit, making Irvine pay. Van and Moonbay are pursued by Rosso's gang through the village and captured. Irvine hears a gunshot and finds them tied to the Shield Liger's foot. Fiona tries to help but is also caught. Irvine frees Van and Moonbay. Van and Zeke board the Shield Liger. Rosso attacks in the Red Horn. Van uses the Shield Liger to block the assault and rams the enemy. The Imperial Army arrives, forcing the group to leave. Rosso surrenders after ordering his gang to escape. He warns Van not to be caught after defeating the Desert Alcavaleno Gang.
