Zairin reflects on the destruction of his village by Bio-Zoids and his subsequent role as a Digald Bio-Raptor pilot. He remembers General Jiin explaining his ambition to become a god and rule the Digald Empire. Jiin subsequently promotes Zairin to Major and grants him command of the Mega-Raptor. In Zuuri City, rebel forces assemble and ready themselves for an imminent conflict. The initial wave of Bio-Zoid attacks is launched against the rebels. Ruuji and Hayate Liger intervene to assist the defenders. Together, they successfully defeat the attacking Bio-Zoids, securing a temporary victory for the rebel troops during this early engagement.
