EP 1Franchouchou faces debt and failure after a bad concert, prompting Kotaro's return.
Apr 8, 2021One month after Franchouchou's show at the Arpino, the group's success plummets when their performance at the Ekimae Fudōsan Stadium disastrously bombs, leaving the group ¥20 million in debt. The girls spend the following months working at various jobs across Saga to cover expenses, while Kotaro abandons his efforts to save Saga and falls into a slump, despite the girls' repeated attempts to motivate him. Believing their success to depend on Kotaro, Franchouchou books another performance at the Saga Live House Geils, where they intend to unveil a new song that Kotaro had prepared for their previous show as an encore. However, Sakura fails to persuade him to attend, forcing them to continue the show without him. Kotaro is confronted by the bartender of Bar New Jofuku, who reminds him of his reasons to support the girls. Although Kotaro arrives at Geils in time to call for the encore, the song receives a tepid response from the audience, resulting in the show's complete failure. The next morning, a fully revitalized Kotaro greets the girls to help them relaunch their careers.

Apr 15, 2021Franchouchou appears on television to support Yūtoku Inari Shrine alongside White Ryu, a veteran radio host admired by Saki. Following the broadcast, Ryu reveals his intention to retire, prompting Saki to fear the program's end. She confides in Sakura that Ryu guided her toward friendship with Reiko. Saki then guest-stars on the radio show to urge him to keep inspiring Saga residents. Instead, Ryu announces he has selected Franchouchou as the new hosts. Saki eagerly accepts and confesses her romantic feelings, but Ryu declines due to their age gap. Later, Saki and Sakura cry together as Saki realizes her zombie nature prevents her from ever forming a romantic relationship.

Upon visiting Ai, they observe her speaking with Iron Frill’s lead singer, Shiori, who invites Ai to join her current group and leave Franchouchou, which further damages Junko’s confidence.

EP 6Tae's Errands Lead to Dance Victory and Accidental Million Yen Bet
May 13, 2021Tae runs errands while Franchouchou works on their debt, secretly tracked by Okoba who views her as suspicious. At a supermarket, Maria invites Tae to watch Dorami compete in a dance contest. Tae defeats the reigning champion, Drive-In Tori, in a dance-off, winning ¥30,000. A policeman allows Tae to bet the winnings at a boat race after a dispute with Maria. Tae accidentally bets on Misa Azumatsuru by sneezing ink on her ticket. Misa wins, earning Tae ¥20 million. Tae returns home to show the money to Franchouchou, revealing their debt is covered. Sakura accidentally decapitates Tae in front of Okoba, exposing their zombie secret to him.
EP 7Maimai Yuzuriha joins Franchouchou after discovering their undead nature and decides to graduate.
May 20, 2021Maimai Yuzuriha, a devoted Franchouchou fan, slips on soap in a bathhouse and is revived by Kotaro at the mansion. She learns the girls are undead but remains enthusiastic, convincing Kotaro to let her join to help keep their secret. The group accepts her inexperience and agrees to her proposal to debut as their eighth member at her school’s cultural festival. During preparations, Maimai learns about Sakura’s past and realizes the others view the group as a second chance due to their untimely deaths. Feeling she does not belong, Maimai announces her graduation after their first performance to live her life fully. Meanwhile, Okoba identifies all members except Yugiri.
EP 8Yugiri gains freedom in Meiji Japan and meets Kiichi Momozaki who seeks to restore Saga Prefecture.
May 27, 2021In Meiji Era Japan, oiran Yugiri is freed by a wealthy patron in Yoshiwara and relocates to the former Saga Prefecture area, now part of Nagasaki after the 1874 Saga Rebellion. Her patron dies, leaving her isolated until she encounters Kiichi Momozaki, a local man dedicated to restoring Saga’s independent prefecture status. Kiichi gifts Yugiri, who accepts, and later visits him to repay the gesture. She discovers his motivation stems from gratitude toward the man who raised him after his father died in the uprising, inspiring her to assist. Kiichi’s friend Itou warns that further conflict is inevitable. Their campaign eventually draws the attention of a group of former samurai.

Jun 10, 2021Three weeks after the failed 2019 Arpino concert, Kotaro announces a new event at Ekimae Fudōsan Stadium. His poor management leads to debt, but Tae restores the girls' confidence by buying food with his savings. They aim for a revenge concert. In 2020, Kotaro schedules the event for the anniversary date, taking precautions to avoid past disasters. Okoba confronts Kotaro with evidence of the girls' secret, threatening to expose his exploitation of the dead. That night, Kotaro reveals to a bartender that he resurrected the girls to preserve Saga's memory after a prophesied cataclysm. The disaster begins immediately as Okoba attempts to publish his exposé. A severe rainstorm causes a prefecture-wide blackout in Saga, sending the girls' mansion sliding toward the sea.
EP 11Franchouchou Survives Storm and Performs for Children in Saga
Jun 17, 2021A storm destroys Franchouchou’s mansion and supplies, forcing the group to seek refuge in a shelter after being rescued by Ai’s coworker. While performing for local children, Okoba secretly observes them, realizing their actions are voluntary. When their makeup fades and their clay masks shatter, the children accept them despite suspicions of them being zombies. Meanwhile, Kotaro and a bartender are rescued from a flooded bar; the bartender is hospitalized while Kotaro reunites with the girls. He reapplies their makeup and confirms their revenge concert remains scheduled to restore Saga’s morale. Sakura thanks Kotaro for helping her achieve her dream, and he promises to support Franchouchou until they become world-famous.
EP 12Franchouchou's Concert Unites Saga Amidst Kotaro's Hidden Struggles
Jun 24, 2021With Okoba's assistance, Kotaro persuades the Saga governor to prioritize repairs around Tosu, facilitating access to Ekimae Fudōsan Stadium for Franchouchou's charity concert. Saki promotes the event via their radio show, urging listeners to attend. On the day of the performance, the group walks to the stadium, which initially appears empty until fans from across Japan arrive, drawn by the international attention their broadcast received. The concert achieves phenomenal success, prompting immediate repair work in Saga. Before their encore, Kotaro tearfully congratulates the girls but reminds them that Saga remains unsaved, coughing up blood while hiding stains. A post-credits scene shows a flying saucer destroying the landscape.
