Thirteen years ago, an invasion by angels began. In response, multiple groups formed to defend Earth. One such group is the Angel Assassination Squad at Seika College, considered the top unit in Japan. The students enrolled there come from influential and wealthy families, representing the nation's elite. When Kentarou Uesugi, a brash and unrefined rural student, and his reserved, enigmatic companion Shinobu Akehoshi receive invitations to join, the consequences remain uncertain.
