Andou Natsu: Edo Wagashi Shokunin Monogatari

A young woman aspiring to be a patissiere finds herself unemployed after her shop owner dies unexpectedly. Traveling to Tokyo to seek work in a confectionery, she arrives too late for the hiring period. She then encounters an established Japanese confectionery called Mangetsudo, which is managed by Umekichi, Takezo, and Mitsuko and is in need of a part-time employee. Through a series of coincidences, she begins working there, initially serving customers. Though her previous experience was limited to cake shops, she becomes fascinated by the unfamiliar realm of Japanese confections and slowly discovers its depth and richness.
