In 2020, a massive, unknown creature attacks Tokyo, causing widespread destruction. The narrative shifts to 1959, where Asa, a spirited girl with 10 siblings, is often overlooked. When she is taken hostage by a man who wrongly assumes she is the child of a doctor, her disappearance goes largely unnoticed. This occurs during a severe typhoon, forcing Asa and her captor to collaborate for survival. Unseen elements surround both the man and the storm.
