In a near-future setting, humanity has been driven to the brink by parasitic viruses known as Gastrea. Survivors are confined to limited areas, living in fear and hardship. Rentaro, a member of the Civil Security in Tokyo, regularly undertakes perilous missions against the Gastrea. He works alongside Enju, a young and intelligent girl. Using their unique abilities, they engage in combat until they are given a confidential government task. The mission aims to stop the impending destruction of Tokyo.
