BLAME!

In a future Earth dominated by an immense, labyrinthine city, Killy travels through the structure in search of the Net Terminal Gene, a genetic trait that once enabled humans to connect to the NetSphere. Equipped with a Graviton Beam Emitter, he battles humans, cyborgs, and silicon-based beings. He meets a scientist whose body has decayed due to long-term imprisonment; she offers assistance in his search, provided she can first resolve a personal matter.
