Dororo

A newborn boy's organs are sold by his father to forty-eight demons in return for military power, but the child is rescued and survives by a healer who gives him crude, deadly prosthetics. As he grows, the boy uses these weapons to track down the demons responsible for his missing body parts, seeking to reclaim what was taken and face his father. During his travels, he meets a young orphan who claims to be the finest thief in Japan. Together, they journey across the land in a tale that explores the nature of identity and self-discovery, suggesting that no one is born complete.
