1EP 1Lord Daigo recalls his pact with twelve demons while his son drifts away, reappearing sixteen years later as an armored youth.
Jan 7, 2019Lord Daigo Kagemitsu remembers making a pact with twelve demons in the Hall of Hell to gain power. When his son is born, the demons take their payment, resulting in a child without limbs, skin, or facial features. The infant is left to die in a river. Sixteen years later, he is a young man traveling alone with prosthetics crafted by Dr. Jukai. While hunting a sludge-like demon, he meets Dororo, a petty thief being beaten by three men. The demon attacks and eats the men, but the youth destroys it using blades hidden in his prosthetic arms. After the demon Deiki dies, the youth’s skin returns, and a statue in the Hall of Hell splits from lightning. Meanwhile, Daigo’s second son Tahoumaru returns home from hunting in Ishikawa, while his mother continues to miss her first son.
2EP 2Dororo and Hyakkimaru confront demon Bandai and uncover village conspiracies
Jan 14, 2019Dororo travels with a mute, blind, and deaf swordsman possessing superhuman strength and soul-seeing abilities. They visit a village led by Bandai, who promises to kill a monster for payment. There, they meet the blind monk Biwa-Houshi, who shares this spiritual sight. The duo discovers Bandai is a demon consuming travelers, and the young man defeats her. A strange entity explains that villagers aided Bandai while stealing traveler funds, and they sought to eliminate the entity for its haunting bell noise. Following this, Biwa-Houshi joins the group. The young man regains his nervous system after the battle and introduces himself as Hyakkimaru. In a separate development, Daigo Kagemitsu observes that the Sakai Clan is preparing for war.
3EP 3Jukai’s Past and Hyakkimaru’s Return with New Sensations
Jan 21, 2019Doctor Jukai previously served Lord Shiba, creating prosthetics and crucifying enemies until his loved one died, prompting him to flee to foreigners who taught him his craft. He rescued an abandoned infant from Lord Daigo Kagemitsu, naming him Hyakkimaru and fitting him with artificial limbs. After Hyakkimaru defeated the demon Kamaitachi and regained his right leg, Jukai deduced demons were stealing his body parts. Before Hyakkimaru departed to travel alone, Jukai installed swords into his prosthetic arms. In the present, Hyakkimaru returns to Dororo and Houshi after slaying a demon, now seemingly possessing the ability to feel pain.
4EP 4Hyakkimaru confronts the demon sword wielder and retrieves his ears
Jan 28, 2019While Dororo converses with Osushi, Hyakkimaru senses a cursed blade and engages its user. He defeats the man by trapping the weapon in his prosthetic leg. Dororo retrieves the leg but is pulled toward the sword’s true owner, Osushi’s brother Tanosuke. Tanosuke possesses the demon sword Nihiru, which drives him to seek eternal bloodshed. Hyakkimaru disarms Dororo, but Tanosuke reclaims the blade and attacks. Hyakkimaru kills Tanosuke, resulting in the restoration of his ears.
5EP 5Hyakkimaru battles a demon while Mio serves the Sakai Clan and Dororo discovers her secret work.
Feb 4, 2019Hyakkimaru struggles with his new hearing and is rescued from a bird-like monster by the Biwa-Hōshi. The Sakai Clan prepares for war after betraying an ally. The next morning, Hyakkimaru meets Mio, who sings beautifully, but he collapses from his injuries. The group stays at an abandoned temple with orphaned children while Mio works at night as a prostitute for the Sakai troops. The Biwa-Hōshi finds a new campsite inhabited by a demon. Despite not having fully recovered, Hyakkimaru fights the antlion lavae-like demon Arijigoku, which bites off the lower half of his real leg, causing extreme pain. That night, Dororo follows Mio and discovers the nature of her work.
6EP 6Hyakkimaru and Dororo return to find Mio dead after Daigo troops attack the orphans.
Feb 11, 2019Hyakkimaru and Biwa-Houshi return to Mio’s camp, where Hyakkimaru’s leg is injured but his voice has returned. While Dororo questions the children about Mio’s work, Hyakkimaru learns to use his hearing and voice with Mio’s help, growing close to her. Despite partial recovery, he returns to defeat the Arijigoku demon using swords found on the battlefield, which heals his leg. Upon returning to the temple, they discover Mio mortally wounded and Daigo troops killing the orphans, suspecting Mio is a Sakai spy. Hyakkimaru slaughters the troops in a rage until Dororo stops him, fearing he might become a demon. Dororo later finds seed rice in Mio’s hand, taken from the Samurai she hated to fund her farm. After burying the dead, Hyakkimaru and Dororo continue their journey.
7EP 7Hyakkimaru encounters the demon Jorogumo who has taken refuge with the kind Yajiro in the village.
Feb 18, 2019Hyakkimaru and Dororo encounter the spider demon Jorogumo, who escapes after being wounded. They arrive in a village where men vanish at night. Yajiro finds the injured demon, who appears as a beautiful woman, and nurses her back to health, naming her Ohagi. She resists eating him due to his kindness. Yajiro reveals he helps men escape an oppressive lord, not kill them. Hyakkimaru attacks Ohagi again, forcing her to flee with Yajiro. Troops ambush them in a mountain passage, wounding Yajiro. Ohagi defeats the soldiers in rage, attracting Hyakkimaru. As they prepare to fight, Hyakkimaru sees Ohagi’s soul change color due to her concern for Yajiro. He withdraws, allowing the couple to leave safely while Hyakkimaru and Dororo continue their journey.
8EP 8Hyakkimaru and Dororo help Saru defeat the demon Nokosaregumo threatening his sister.
Feb 25, 2019A village prepares a woman as a sacrifice to appease the demon Nokosaregumo, appearing as a dark cloud. Saru, a wild boy who considers the woman his sister, attempts to stop the ritual. Hyakkimaru and Dororo agree to defeat the demon, but Hyakkimaru cannot distinguish the creature from the cloud due to visual confusion. Dororo and Saru use sulphurous gases to ignite the demon with little success. Dororo then jumps on the centipede-like demon's head, allowing Hyakkimaru to locate it by sound and destroy it. The cloud dissipates, and the group falls into a spring. The woman is rescued undigested, and Saru agrees to live in the village. Hyakkimaru regains his sense of smell and addresses Dororo by name for the first time.

Tahoumaru discovers his father seeks a baby. He and bodyguards Mutsu and Hyogo encounter a village plagued by a lake monster eating fishermen. They attack the beast but are forced to retreat due to its ferocity. Tahoumaru devises a trap to drain water in a shallow channel. The plan succeeds, allowing the trio to attack, but the monster nearly kills Hyogo. Hyakkimaru arrives at the last moment and slays the demon, leaving Tahoumaru to wonder about the stranger.
11EP 11Banmon’s History Part One: Hyakkimaru’s Name and the Cursed Fort
Mar 18, 2019Before reaching Daigo Kagemitsu's capital, Tahoumaru learns Hyakkimaru's name. At the capital, a play glorifies Daigo as a demon slayer protected by the Goddess of Mercy. The Biwa-Houshi visits the Hall of Hell for truth. Hyakkimaru and Dororo explore the cursed ruins of Fort Banmon, built by Daigo on a destroyed village. There, Asakura soldiers pin enemy bodies with arrows. They meet Sukeroku, who wants to cross to the Asakura side to reunite with his family. Meanwhile, Tahoumaru's guards report to Daigo, who confirms his son is alive and vows to kill him to protect his domain, disregarding his wife's pleas. Tahoumaru overhears this and meets a woman present at his birth, who explains demons spared him. At night, a nine-tailed fox demon attacks Hyakkimaru. Sukeroku uses the chaos to cross the wall, but Dororo pursues and Sukeroku is captured. Daigo's squadron chases the demon away with arrows, and Daigo approaches Hyakkimaru.

Apr 8, 2019Hyakkimaru hunts demons while Dororo persuades him to visit an onsen. Near Hakumenfudo, a faceless Buddha statue at a waterfall, Dororo meets Okaka, who resembles his mother. She recounts how a sculptor died before carving the statue’s face, allowing a demon to inhabit it. The demon revived the sculptor as Okaka to capture humans for their faces. After drugging Dororo, Okaka drags Hyakkimaru to the falls, but he awakens to fight the statue. Okaka uses the demon’s power to immobilize him, yet Dororo’s pleas soften her heart. She allows Hakumenfudo to wound her, enabling Hyakkimaru to destroy the demon. Okaka disintegrates. Later, the pair visit an onsen, meeting Biwa-Hōshi and children who see a map on Dororo’s back. Nuinokata survives her suicide attempt, while Tahōmaru is blinded in his right eye.
