A Holy Grail War occurs in the city of Snowfield, located in the western United States, distinct from the one in Fuyuki. The Mage's Association discovered that this event was a counterfeit version of the Holy Grail War system, with notable differences. The imitation system was flawed, omitting one of the seven standard classes and summoning Servants that typically could not be called. The U.S. government is involved in various schemes as the Servants are summoned.
