Happiness
·ハピネス
Makoto Ozaki's first year of high school is marked by mundane struggles and small disappointments, including minor bullying, inconsistent friendships, and the awkwardness of teenage desire. One evening, a pale and slender girl attacks him in an alley and presents him with a choice that changes his life. Afterward, ordinary things feel strange—daylight is painfully intense, food is unappetizing, and he experiences an overwhelming, unsettling thirst. The trivial annoyances of his past are now overshadowed by the disturbing reality of what he craves and the ongoing challenge of navigating high school.
