Hirahira: Kuniyoshi Ichimon Ukiyotan
ひらひら 国芳一門浮世譚
Tasaka Denpachiro, after 15 years of chasing his master’s greatest foe, confronts his enemy and attempts to commit suicide by drowning in a river. He is rescued by Utagawa Kuniyoshi, a renowned ukiyo-e artist who happens to be nearby. Moved by the encounter, Kuniyoshi takes Tasaka in as a student, offering him a new identity and name: Denpachi. Under his mentorship, Denpachi shows exceptional talent in painting but remains unable to share the dark history that haunts him.
