Kabuki Hime: Tenkaichi no Onna

In the 1590s, a woman named Kiki travels with her mother, Izumo no Okuni, who is promoting a new form of theatrical dance. As they seek to expand the appeal of this performance style, they encounter numerous obstacles during a time of political instability. This era marks the end of the warring states period and the beginning of Japan's path toward unification.
