Koutetsujou no Kabaneri

During an era of industrial advancement, a monstrous threat emerges, impervious to attack unless its iron-protected heart is struck. These creatures, called Kabane, are formed when humans are bitten. On the distant Hinomoto island, people reside in stations for safety, connected by a steam-powered locomotive named Hayajiro. Ikoma, a resident of Aragane station who assists in maintaining Hayajiro, forges a weapon named Tsuranukizutsu to combat the Kabane. While waiting to use it, he encounters Mumei, a girl exempt from the Kabane screening process. Later that night, Ikoma sees Hayajiro behaving erratically, with its crew transformed into Kabane. The station is now under siege, giving Ikoma the chance to use his weapon.
