Mai Ball!

Mai has assisted her childhood friend Kunimitsu with soccer practice since they were young. Their routine has contributed to Kunimitsu's back-to-back MVP titles at the middle school nationals. Reika, a supporter of Kunimitsu, observes Mai and Kunimitsu training and is surprised by Mai's skill. To demonstrate her own abilities to Kunimitsu, Reika issues a soccer challenge to Mai. Mai, who often struggles with anxiety or daydreams about Kunimitsu during matches, finds it difficult to perform well outside of practice. The challenge puts her in a difficult position, testing her ability to focus and compete.
