Hibi takes a job as a librarian at his former school, where he reconnects with Sugino, who has become a teacher. In high school, Hibi confessed his feelings to Sugino, but was told he had misinterpreted emotions and did not truly grasp the concept of liking someone. Now, Sugino claims to have feelings for Hibi. However, Hibi no longer views Sugino with affection—his emotions have shifted to resentment.
