Nippen!

A boy named Asahi Ogimura, who began playing table tennis after meeting a girl named Suzu, dreamed of reaching the top of the sport using a traditional Japanese racket called the Nippon Pen. This racket was once widely used during a period when Japan led the table tennis world and produced many champions. However, as tactics evolved and new rackets emerged, the Nippon Pen faded from international play and became seen as obsolete. Asahi temporarily left the sport after a particular incident, but four years later, a new encounter prompts him to return and pursue his original goal. The story follows his journey to reclaim his place in table tennis using the Nippon Pen.
