Large floating objects are attacking the world, and initial efforts to stop them have failed. Some soldiers have abandoned their posts to return home. Seven individuals appear as heroes, fighting the mysterious threat by launching into the sky in glowing robotic suits. While some, like Souya, might consider joining the battle to protect humanity, he instead finds himself opposing the very heroes he could have fought alongside.
