Sengoku Youko

Two opposing groups inhabit the world: humans and a race of creatures known as katawara. Tama, a katawara, holds affection for humans and dedicates herself to defending them from threats, including members of her own species. Her stepbrother, Jinka, is largely human but harbors a deep dislike for them. Accompanying them is Shinsuke, a timid swordsman seeking to grow stronger. Together, they encounter various individuals, locations, and adversaries that will become the stuff of legends.
