In a divided city named Eridana, split between the Tseberun Dragon Empire and the Lapetodes Seven Cities Alliance by the Orielal River, a system of magical combat exists through spell formulas. These are chemical reactions enhanced by specialized weapons known as Magic Staffs, used to combat dangerous creatures like Dragons, Aions, or Enormes that also employ these formulas. The narrative centers on Gaius Sorel and Gigina Ashley-Bufh, the sole workers at the Spell Formulist firm Ashley-Bufh & Sorel Co. They handle various client requests, each requiring the application of spell formulas in their work.
