Saredo Tsumibito wa Ryuu to Odoru

The narrative is set in a divided city called Eridana, with one half under the Tseberun Dragon Empire and the other in the Lapetodes Seven Cities Alliance, separated by the Orielal River. In this world, individuals known as spell formulists use special weapons called Magic Staffs to perform spell formulas—chemical reactions enhanced to produce magical effects. These spell formulists combat creatures known as Beasts of Abhorrent Form, which include Dragons, Aions, and Enormes, and also use spell formulas. The plot centers on Gaius Sorel and Gigina Ashley-Bufh, the sole employees of the Spell Formulist dispatch office Ashley-Bufh & Sorel Co. They handle various client requests that require the application of spell formulas.
