Suzumiya Haruhi no Fungai

Volume 8 of the series includes two stories. In the first, the SOS Brigade, operating as the Literature Club to maintain their status as a recognized school group, faces a threat from the new student council president who wants to disband them. To avoid this, they must produce a literary work, with Haruhi taking charge as editor-in-chief. The second story involves the club shifting to detective work when a classmate asks for help. A local park path is causing fear among neighborhood dogs, and Haruhi believes animal spirits are to blame, prompting the group to attempt their first canine exorcism.
