Karin and Lisette were witches who trained together in their youth. After many years apart, Lisette returns and settles in a forest near Karin. She appears to be taking clients away from Karin, causing tension between them. Karin longs to reconnect with Lisette, but every attempt is blocked by Lisette's apprentice, a young man named Ruin.
