A transfer student from Tokyo, Hotaruko, moves to a small town known for its dedication to the traditional art of "Owara." While in what she believes is an empty classroom, she is caught by a local boy named Hikaru in an unusual pose, leading to an unusual connection between them. This connection eventually gives rise to an unforeseen turn of events.
