Warawanai Ningyo

A compilation of brief narratives centers on Youzuke's childhood memory of spending a summer at his uncle's home, which features a pool where a mermaid appears at night. Many years later, Youzuke's uncle vanishes, and his estate is unexpectedly bequeathed to Ayumi Kenjou, a stranger. Youzuke later encounters Ayumi and feels an inexplicable sense of familiarity, as if they had met during that distant summer.
