A man named Kagari Shuuya enters a white room and is presented with a futuristic system that allows him to reincarnate in another world. He selects a half-vampire race, which resembles humans but has vampire traits and a weakness to light magic. To counter this, he chooses an extra skill that lets him use light magic, creating a new hybrid species called Seivalt. His other skills include Language Comprehension, Chain Projection, and Growth Modifier. He is transported to a harsh underground world where survival is difficult despite his abilities. After months of isolation and battling enemies, he encounters a large winged beast that severely injures him. He reaches an altar with a black tiger statue, where the beast attacks again. During the fight, Shuuya is nearly killed, but his blood transforms the beast, and he loses consciousness. His body regenerates into a small black cat, a creature once known as a Divine Beast, which will join him in his journey.
