Ep. 7: Takao celebrates his thirteenth birthday while competing in the Beyblade finals against Kai.

Takao, Max and Kyojyu are working on Dragoon to ensure victory in the finals when Grandpa interrupts and reveals Takao that it is his 13th birthday! After the party, the first round ends quickly, with Takao unexpectedly defeating Kai. Kai then goes harder on Takao and easily defeats him in the second round. The third round is explosive, with Takao just managing to defeat Kai, and become the National Beyblade Champion. Kaichou then reveals to Takao, Kai, Max, Kyojyu and Rei that they will become a team and participate in the World Championships. (Source: Wikipedia)
