However, with a flock of alpha bats consuming every Digimon they swarm upon before converging at the ruins of the Fuji TV station, the DigiDestined learn that Myotismon is not dead yet as he is reborn as the mindless mega-level VenomMyotismon. After inhaling DemiDevimon, VenomMyotismon overpowers MetalGreymon and WereGarurumon when they attempt to stop him from advancing to the convention center to eat the humans there.
