After receiving an ancient DigiWorld prophecy from Gennai about the an undead king reborn as a beast and that two arrows of hope and light hitting loved ones will bring forth a miracle, the Digidestined manage to take out the last remaining Bakemon. However, with a flock of alpha bats consuming every Digimon they swarm upon before converging at the ruins of the Fuji TV station, the DigiDestined learn that Myotismon is not dead yet as he is reborn as the mindless mega-level VenomMyotismon. After inhaling DemiDevimon, VenomMyotismon overpowers MetalGreymon and WereGarurumon when they attempt to stop him from advancing to the convention center to eat the humans there. When Angemon and Angewomon arrive, Izzy realizes the two holy Digimon play a role in the final verse as Tai and Matt risk their lives to fulfill their prophecy with Agumon and Gabumon Warp Digivolving into Mega-level Digimon: WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon.
