Gennai shares a DigiWorld prophecy regarding an undead king reborn as a beast, where two arrows of hope and light striking loved ones will trigger a miracle. The Digidestined defeat the final Bakemon but discover Myotismon survives, having transformed into the mindless mega-level VenomMyotismon after consuming DemiDevimon. This new form overwhelms MetalGreymon and WereGarurumon as it advances toward the convention center to consume humans. Upon the arrival of Angemon and Angewomon, Izzy recognizes their connection to the prophecy's final verse. Tai and Matt risk their lives to activate the miracle, enabling Agumon and Gabumon to Warp Digivolve into WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon.
