Ep. 8: Haru y Shizuku enfrentan sus sentimientos y malentendidos en el Festival Syoyo

Haru gets upset when he discovers Kenji with Shizuku. He goes to punch Kenji but misses and hits Shizuku instead. Afterwards Shizuku opens up to Asako about her difficulty with Haru but when she offers advice, Shizuku coldly turns her down. Kenji sheds some light on the subject, partly blaming Shizuku for not being honest with herself by not returning Haru's feelings, hurting him in the process. While walking through the school's corridor Kenji grabs Shizuku and hides in an empty room to avoid Yuzan. A minute later Haru enters the room with Chizuru, also avoiding Yuzan. Here, the truth behind Kenji's words are revealed when they eavesdrop on Haru and Chizuru discussing his pain with Shizuku. Things take a turn when Chizuru confesses to Haru. Just then Kenji reveals himself with Shizuku as Yuzan walks in. Haru grabs Chizuru and holds her threateningly in front of Yuzan, but stops himself when he realizes that people are looking at the commotion. Haru lets Chizuru go and runs away. Shizuku goes to look for Haru where they both admit their mistakes, which they can learn from, causing her to also apologize to Asako. In the end, Shizuku and Haru have a heart to heart where she admits that she was afraid that if she let herself love Haru, her grades would suffer again.
