Ep. 8: Haru and Shizuku confront their feelings and misunderstandings at the Syoyo Festival

Haru becomes angry upon seeing Kenji with Shizuku, accidentally striking Shizuku while attempting to punch Kenji. Shizuku later rejects Asako’s advice regarding her relationship with Haru, while Kenji suggests Shizuku’s lack of honesty hurts Haru. Kenji hides Shizuku in a room to avoid Yuzan, where they overhear Haru and Chizuru. Chizuru confesses to Haru, but Kenji and Shizuku emerge as Yuzan arrives. Haru threatens Chizuru before fleeing when noticed. Shizuku finds Haru, and they apologize for their mistakes. Shizuku admits she feared her grades would drop if she loved Haru. Haru hugs her, and she asks for time to consider their relationship, to which he smiles sincerely.
