Angel Heart

A young Taiwanese assassin known as "Glass Heart" died after jumping from a building with her heart impaled by a metal fence. She was revived through a heart transplant and, during her recovery, began having unusual dreams. These dreams prompted her to travel to Japan in search of the heart donor, who is identified as Kaori Makimura, a former associate of Ryo Saeba from City Hunter. It is noted that Angel Heart uses characters also appearing in City Hunter but is not a direct continuation of that series. The story exists in a parallel universe and is unrelated to the events of City Hunter.
