Argento Soma

In 2059, after years of alien invasions, Dr. Noguchi and assistants Maki Agata and Takuto Kenishiro attempt to reactivate a large bio-mechanical alien called Frank. The experiment results in the lab's destruction, with Takuto as the sole survivor and Frank escaping into the wild. Frank encounters Hattie, a girl traumatized by the death of her parents in an earlier alien conflict. She can somehow communicate with him, and they are captured by a secret organization called 'Funeral.' Takuto, now disfigured and hospitalized, is offered a new identity by a mysterious figure known as 'Mr. X' and becomes a Funeral officer named Ryu Soma.
