During the final years of the Edo period, a family lives under the leadership of Cloud, a man known for neglecting responsibilities in favor of leisure and pursuing romantic interests. His wife, Turtle, and their two children, an 11-year-old son and an 8-year-old daughter, are part of this household. The family as a whole is depicted as avoiding work and prioritizing play.
