Kemono no Souja Erin

A peaceful alliance exists between the provinces of Shin-Ou and Tai-Kou in the land of Ryoza, ruled by Queen Shinou and protected by Grand Duke Taikou and his Touda war-lizards. Erin, a young girl from the village of Ake in Tai-Kou, lives with her mother Soyon, who is the village's head Touda doctor. A tragic accident involving the Grand Duke's most powerful Touda leads to Soyon being harshly punished, forcing Erin to flee after falling into a river and drifting to Shin-Ou. Stranded and unable to return, Erin must adapt to a new life among unfamiliar people while seeking the truth about the Touda and the growing conflict between the two regions.
