After the red sheep left with a black Boston bag in its arms, a man was lying on the ground with a kitchen knife stuck in his chest. According to the police who arrived at the scene, the man was Tetsuzaburo Wakabayashi. He was the owner and head chef of La Mucho, the restaurant where Beppu and the others worked, and where Kogoro had been hired.
