Ryota Beppu hires the Mori Detective Agency, claiming his girlfriend Ami Takigawa was kidnapped by a red sheep. He receives a demand to visit Yonehana Park at 12:00 pm alone. Kogoro and Beppu attend, finding Ami unharmed as the incident proves to be a popular SNS trend testing couples. Meanwhile, Conan and Ran encounter a figure in a red sheep costume exiting a tunnel. After the figure departs with a black Boston bag, a man is found dead with a kitchen knife in his chest. Police identify the victim as Tetsuzaburo Wakabayashi, the owner of La Mucho restaurant where Beppu and Kogoro work. Suspecting a link to the kidnapping, Conan and his group proceed to investigate the restaurant.
