Hotaru relocates from Tokyo to a small rural town and faces a significant shift in lifestyle. The town lacks nearby comic shops and video stores, and her new school has only four other students. Despite these differences, she finds comfort in the relaxed environment. While she will miss aspects of her previous life, she looks forward to new experiences with her classmates Renge, Komari, Natsumi, and Suguru.
