In 2019, a worldline diverging slightly from Steins Gate, an augmented reality device known as the PokeCom, equipped with the PhoneDroid OS, is gaining popularity. At Central Tanegashima High School, the Robot Research Club faces the risk of being disbanded. Kaito Yashio, one of two remaining members, is more interested in robot fighting games than in saving the club. Akiho Senomiya, the club's ineffective leader, is determined to build a giant robot to keep the club active. Kaito later finds an AR annotation known as the Kimijima Report, which accuses a person named Kou Kimijima of involvement in a global conspiracy.
