Venus Senki

An ice comet striking Venus alters its atmosphere, making human colonization possible. The new environment, however, proves harsh, with failing crops and scarce resources leading to conflict between the two inhabited continents. As tensions escalate toward war, a reporter named Susan Sommers arrives in the capital, Aphrodia, just as it is attacked by Ishtar. She is rescued by Hiro Seno and his Battle Bike team, but the city soon falls under Ishtar's control, forcing them to flee. Their expertise in Battle Bike, a hybrid of motorcycle racing and roller derby, might offer Aphrodia a chance to turn the tide in the escalating conflict.
