Exhausted and injured, Keith knows he must retrieve Nadja's brooch and warn her about Herman's plans; although it is easy to reclaim the brooch, Nadja is impatient to leave Salzburg. She finds a map of Austria, and reads some library books with help from the German-speaking Abel. Harvey decides to write a newspaper article to help find her brooch.
