Injured and exhausted, Keith determines that he must recover Nadja's brooch and alert her to Herman's schemes. Although reclaiming the item proves straightforward, Nadja grows eager to depart from Salzburg. She locates a map of Austria and studies library books, utilizing the assistance of the German-speaking Abel. Meanwhile, Harvey chooses to compose a newspaper article in an effort to locate the missing brooch. He enthusiastically starts writing the piece. Concurrently, the Happy Carrier Car undergoes repairs, and Keith successfully returns the brooch to Nadja.
