Gintoki and Hasegawa visit a casino in an attempt earn some easy cash but before long they’ve lost everything and are stripped down to their loincloths. The two complain that they can't win because evil spirits possesses them. But when a renowned gambler named Kanbe, the Luck Reader, arrives on the scene and helps them get their clothes back, Gintoki and Hasegawa take a hint from his suaveness, and try their hands at blackjack, only to wind up getting their clothes taken away again.
